December Events: New England VGC

There is no doubt that the Pokemon VGC scene has exploded in popularity in recent years. Areas of the U.S. that barely had any local events are starting to see signs of life. New England is no exception. Once an area, pre-COVID, that would have maybe one or two events every couple of months, is now flourishing with 10+ tournament organizers looking to expand their scene to the next level. As a player and tournament organizer myself, I’m so grateful to be a part of this historic season with the official return of local events. Let’s take a look at the month of December for upcoming New England VGC local events.

Weekend of December 2nd/3rd

Maine Vintage Toys is a new venue to the VGC scene. Boasting a nice array of snacks and beverages, as well as a nice storefront, the play area of this establishment is perfect for the 32-player cap. This will be a Bo3 Swiss, Bo3 Top Cut, Midseason Showdown. This event is organized by Ryan B Hebert.
